Assessments:
It may be necessary for an assessement to be carried out in order to determine what is in the best interest of the child/children in relation to access with their parent. During such assessments we meet with the child/children, parents and all relevant adults and professionals that we deem necessary to bring together their opinions and concerns. We take the child/ children’s safety, health and welfare to be of paramount importance in completing each assessment.
Supervised access:
We facilitate access between a parent and child/ children. We aim to enable children to maintain relationships with their parents in a safe and professionally monitored environment.
We also work with both parents in trying to enable them to manage access with as little stress and difficulties as possible in the hope that it can be managed successfully if and when the time comes that we are removed from working with the family.
Parenting courses:
We are currently in the process of training to facilitate parenting courses and hope to run these in locations around Cork City and County in Spring 2014.
